Where Manage My Pain is strong
Manage My Pain is a dedicated pain tracker with quick pain records, daily reflections, charts and reports designed to be shared with clinicians. It is free to download and runs on iOS, Android and the web, which makes it a good option if you only need to track pain and want to start without paying.
Where WellNest is different
WellNest treats pain as one part of living with a chronic condition. Alongside the chronic pain diary and CRPS tracker, it has a medication tracker with doses by time of day and eScript codes, appointments and care-team contacts, a shareable emergency action plan and a medical expense tracker with claim statuses. If you also live with asthma or epilepsy, the asthma tracker and seizure diary sit in the same app.
Pricing and platforms
WellNest is a single subscription – AU$4.99 a month or AU$44.99 a year – with a 7-day free trial, and PDF reports are included. It is available on iPhone and the web; there is no Android app yet. Manage My Pain is free to download, with a paid subscription and in-app purchases for extra features, and it is available on Android as well as iOS and the web.
Which should you choose?
If you use Android, or you only want a pain tracker and prefer to start free, Manage My Pain is a sensible choice. If you want your pain diary, medications, appointments, emergency plan and medical costs in one place – or you track asthma or seizures too – that is where WellNest focuses. Try both and keep the one you actually open every day.
